Wowza Live Chat Support: maintenance window this weekend.
As part of our commitments to our customers, periodically we need to ensure we maintain system performance, reliability, security, and stability of the Live Chat infrastructure.
To perform these activities a maintenance window has been scheduled for May 20th, 2018.
Start: 1:00 am UTC Sunday, 20 May
End: 1:00 pm UTC Sunday, 20 May
Impact: At the beginning of the 12-hour period, customers will experience unavailability of the Chat widget for several minutes. Subsequently, the service is expected to remain available throughout the remainder of the maintenance window.
Some customers are currently experiencing issues initiating transcoders in US EAST/ Virginia region.
As a workaround please utilize alternate locations / regions. All transcoders initiated prior to this alert are not impacted. We are currently investigating this issue and apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing; we will provide updates here as they are available.
UPDATE: We are seeing improvement in the US East/Virginia region with transcoders starting. We will update when the issue is resolved.
